Sync Media on Multiple XBMC Boxes
#1
Question
Hi XBMC community,

I was wondering if there was a way to sync media with XBMC. What I mean:

I would have three boxes with three 3TB hard drives. If I rip certain movies and record certain TV shows on one, can I share that media with another box?
So:
BOX 1 has - Movie 1, TV show 1
BOX 2 has - Movie 2, Movie 3
BOX 3 has - TV show 2, TV show 3

What I am saying is - can I access TV show 1 on box 2 or 3? et cetera...

thank you for your help

Each computer will need to be a file server running samba, nfs, etc. Once that is done you can add the media sources from each machine to be seen by all machines. You will probably want to pick a machine to run MySQL.
