Hi all,

I have an N40l microserver, I have a graphics card in it and run XBMC on it under windows 7 and share drives out to other machines,
now the other day I installed XBMCBUNTU on another pc and I saw the extra performance benefits, now I would like to install XBMCBUNTU on my server and share
the drives out via NFS to the other media centers in the house.

is it possible to share drives from XBMCBUNTU? I'm sorry I'm a linux noob but it's so very temping to get into it!

Yep, totally possible. You can set up SMB (wiki), NFS (wiki), or a few others.

i also recommend looking into sshfs although it is not supported by xbmc within the menus.
