Delete back up files
#1
I just upgraded to Frodo and backed up my xbmc library. I'm having an issue now were some metadata will not update. I have a large number of movies that don't have the SD/HD icons filled in yet. Normally they fill in after i watch something the first time. I'm guessing this is happening because XBMC is looking at the .nfo files for that information and nothing was there when i backed up. How can i delete all the files that XBMC made when it backed up? I can not just delete all the .nfo files because I have a few moves were i actually use them.

What did you use to backup your XBMC library? The SD/HD icons are actually determined when XBMC starts playing the movie if it is a DVD or Bluray, the .nfo file is not used.

One thing you could try is:
  1. Export your library to single file. Settings->Library->Export Library.
  2. Delete MyVideos75 DB and Textures DB
  3. Re-import the single export file. Settings->Library->Import Library.
This will essentially rebuild your XBMC video library without the need to re-scrape all the videos again. This is how I backup my XBMC video library.
