Problem with analogic output in Kodi 18.4

Sad
I have a problem with the refresh rate of the resolution of the analog video output of kodi since kodi is preconfigured for NTSC and I have to put it in PAL and I can't do it. Is there any way to do it, can you help me, Thank you. Sad

I'm only interested in analog output, not hdmi.

Kodi picks up the video settings from the underlying operation system.
If you have a Raspberry Pi, then you should take a look at (and possibly change) its settings and options in the config.txt file.
See details here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentatio...t/video.md

I have done that by placing sdtv_mode = 2 in config.txt, so the home screen (multicolored) goes well but kodi does not start and the screen goes black. I do not know what I do badly...

Do not use spaces in these settings -> sdtvmode=2
Otherwise, I'm out of ideas.

I have done it but the resolution still cannot be changed, I need to change the resolution of the analog output of the rasperri pi3b and pass it from NTSC to PAL.

Just my 2 cents, there is a similar post about this, but still unsolved:

I do not know why this problem has no solution because in OSMC it allows you to change both the resolution and the frame rate, what happens is that it does not have the latest version of kodi 18.4 which is what I need to play netflix correctly.

Wait, when did it change from "sdtv_mode=2"?

ELinux RPi config
Quote:
Code:
# Set sdtv mode to PAL (as used in Europe)
sdtv_mode=2

This (Kodi only loading when analog video is configured for the default, NTSC, and failing to finish loading when the RPi is set to PAL) is happening to me as well, even with Kodi19.0-alpha distributed as LibreELEC-nightly, on a RPi3.

LibreELEC 9.0.2 (Kodi 18.2) worked, IIRC, but the issue there was not storing the "video calibration" (overscan) settings. Then I tried 9.1.501 (Kodi 18.4) and this PAL issue appeared. Then I tried a nightly (Kodi 19 alpha), and it's still there. At least, AFAICT, now it saves the video calibration, it's just a shame that the TV is off-system and text is very blurry...

The other linked thread (348205) suggests trying Raspbian, but I don't have a spare SD card (and the system is not with me at the moment). I can attach a kodi.log exported from LibreELEC (or a LibreELEC-created zip with that log and other logs which may or may not be relevant, like system.log).

edit: kodi.log; sdtv_mode=2 ; kodi.log.old : no sdtv_mode
