Trying to do a clean install of my library and my watched status is not working.
Running 12.1

Here's the advancedsettings I added to my userdata folder:

<advancedsettings>
<video>
</video>
<videolibrary>
<importwatchedstate>true</importwatchedstate>
</videolibrary>
</advancedsettings>

It should be working, right? It seems pretty straight forward.
Any idea what could be the cause?

It looks right. Since it reads the watched stated from the exported .NFO in the directory of the file, maybe something is wrong with the .nfo file. It's a text file so it's easy to read it.

You're right. I'm using MediaElch and it creates 2 nfos. 1 named with the title of the movie.nfo and 1 named movie.nfo.
The one with the name of the movie gets the watched status updated but the movie.nfo does not.
I'll post in the MediaElch thread.
Thanks for your help!

Ok, I fixed my problem having 2 nfos. So now I'm down to only 1 but it's not importing the watched status.
What's the line XBMC looks for?
I do have <playcount>1</playcount> and <watched>true</watched>
One of these should be doing the trick, right?
I added the advancedsettings in my userdata folder, removed the source and re added it but still no luck.
Any idea?
