Strange Idle Issue, won't undim, stops drawing screen
#1
When XBMC is left running idle, occasionally it will dim out and not come back when I start using it.. I can do a few things and even play a video (the video even plays back dimmed), then if I cancel out of the video it will stop drawing the screen at all. XBMC does not respond to ALT-F4 in this state. The really odd thing is I do a CTRL-ALT-DEL then open the task manager it doesn't show the task manager... it is running but hidden by XBMC. I can log off to get the machine out of this state... so XBMC closes on request from the OS just fine and I can see the task manager open once it does. Any ideas on causes or solutions? It is not reproducible on demand... it happens every couple weeks maybe. This is on Eden, Windows 7 64-bit. I think it occurred on the previous release as well.

First thought is to try using a different video driver.

Second is to uninstall/reinstall XBMC.

Posting a link to your debug log might be helpful.
