Can someone please explain what the issue is here, and how I can fix this?

Most likely your graphics drivers? Do you have a Intel or AMD GPU?

I have Intel. It's a Yoga 13 with a Intel HD 4000 I believe.

I guess you have driver version 9.17.10.3071 then, in which case it's definitely a driver problem, see https://communities.intel.com/thread/386...irect=true

Solution is to rollback to version 9.17.10.2932
