I know that there is a tutorial for the background weather fanart but not sure if the is one for using animated weather icons in confluence. I've seen them in Transparency, they are visually very effective and it is fairly easy to download a set. I would like to do the same in confluence. I'm using the Oz weather addon although I guess that shouldn't make any difference.

Sure, quite happy to. So that I'm not reinventing the wheel, just tell me what you actually want. Just be aware that I am using Oz weather including the modified myweather.xml that applies to it.
