Is anyone else using xbmc with an IR receiver in the same room as an xbox360? if so had did you get xbmc to ignore the MSE remote?
If it matters I am running XBMCbuntu 12.1 and I have a Logitech Harmony remote. I have tried searching the forums but it seems like you guys do not like remote questions do not get many answers.

Turn the XBOX off when you are not using it?

I don't know what exactly you mean - I'm using a XBOX360, which is placed right under the IR-Receiver for my PC. Never had any problems with that setup...

The Xbox 360 has a setting inside it to ignore generic MCE Remotes, go look in the system settings. Had this issue myself, where sometimes the 360 would start listening to the MCE Remote's commands that were meant for the XBMC machine.
