Hello all.
I've just finished setting up Windows 7 on the HTPC after switching to SSD as primary disk.
Currently the HTPC is connected to a plain PC monitor using VGA and so no HDMI audio or video properties are available within Windows.
I'm undecided whether or not I should setup XBMC using VGA and then move the HTPC to its proper position (HDMI connection HTPC -> AVR -> TV) or vice-versa.
Will Windows and XBMC just automatically detect the new connection and enable HDMI audio & video properties if I first set it up using only VGA?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, or if it doesn't make any sense...
