I installed XBMC on my old computer back in Oct. Windows 7 64 bit Professional. System is an old Pentium 4 64bit 3.4ghz system with 4 gigs of ram (one of the last pentium 4 cpus before they went to the Intel core 2 duo). 160 gig system drive and a few 1 terabyte data drives. System is kept up to date with windows updates. I installed XBMC that was stable/current back on OCt 2012 which I think was eden?
I mainly use an old original Xbox running XBMC 4 xbox in our bedroom and connect to the above living room XBMC server. At night, we queue up a few movies and go to bed. Next morning, the xbox client usually has some sort of error like could not connect. I then vnc into my server and sure enough, XBMC has crashed.
I don't do anything on this computer other than use it for XBMC and torrents when I need to download something which isn't often. I never updated the version of XBMC that it was running. This was a just a new problem that just started occuring. Happens on any movie, not a specific one.
I then updated it to the latest version last week and the problem is still occuring (Frodo?).
