I wasn't able to get it to run even by choosing ANSI. The problem lies with channel IDCode:www.timefor.tv/tv/221
When I assign a channel this ID, the EPG will be empty for this channel and crash afterwards.
A solution here would be interesting, as probably many other non-english speaking users will want to use PTV.
If you could take a look into the XML file I sent you earlier, maybe you can isolate the problem.
Good luck
Use latest master, setup two channels in ptvl using your epg.xml
send me the setting2.xml, crash log from the two channels....

<setting id="Channel_8_type" value="9" />
<setting id="Channel_8_1" value="5400" />
<setting id="Channel_8_2" value="rtsp://192.168.1.52:554/mpeg4" />
<setting id="Channel_8_3" value="Baby Monitor" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rule_1_opt_1" value="Baby Monitor" />
If I put the network address in VLC it works fine but for the life of me cannot get it to work in PTV Live. Did I configure this correctly? Also tried an http stream also and verified it through VLC and no go.
P.S - Thank you lunatiz!! Testing out the capabilities of this plugin and if I can get it working like its meant to, I will diffidently be donating. I dream of plugins like this and just need to learn how to use it to its full potential.
place that link into a txt file, name it baby.strm. Go into xbmc and load baby.strm does it play?
