Please don't use master, till I bump to v.0.2.1
I don't know... obviously you need to know the correct link to the camera.
My foscam works great with PTVL. Go to your makers troubleshooting forum i'm sure there is plenty of topics on the subject. You want something that's http: and includes your username:password.

<setting id="Channel_8_type" value="9" />
<setting id="Channel_8_1" value="5400" />
<setting id="Channel_8_2" value="rtsp://192.168.1.52:554/mpeg4" />
<setting id="Channel_8_3" value="Baby Monitor" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rule_1_opt_1" value="Baby Monitor" />
If I put the network address in VLC it works fine but for the life of me cannot get it to work in PTV Live. Did I configure this correctly? Also tried an http stream also and verified it through VLC and no go.
P.S - Thank you lunatiz!! Testing out the capabilities of this plugin and if I can get it working like its meant to, I will diffidently be donating. I dream of plugins like this and just need to learn how to use it to its full potential.
place that link into a txt file, name it baby.strm. Go into xbmc and load baby.strm does it play?
Well I tried making strm files with the rtsp one and xbmc didnt like that but i tried the http one and it brought up the stream so i added that like this:
<setting id="Channel_8_type" value="9" />
<setting id="Channel_8_1" value="5400" />
<setting id="Channel_8_2" value="http://USERNAME:[email protected]:26072/cgi/mjpg/mjpg.cgi" />
<setting id="Channel_8_3" value="Baby Monitor" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rule_1_id" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_8_rule_1_opt_1" value="Baby Monitor" />
Annnnndddddd it still didnt work. Things like this drive me nuttttsss. Tried to respond right when you quoted me but the "baby" pushed a button on the av receiver and took me forever to find out what she pushed to make the sound quit working. (shouldn't have built my entertainment center with everything at the bottom)
