I began to make streams of the the local radio stations and began with 107.5 WBLS hear in NYC. After jumping through hoops I was able to to ascertain that this station feeds is provided by streamtheworld.com on a encrypted link. Using a few tools i was able to download a playlist file (WBLSFMAAC.PLS) with the following content.

To make sure i had a a valid stream is used Snow Player (http://splayer.info) and the stream played as expected.

I then created an entry .
