What exactly is working?
Problem A: AutoTune Fails to Build USTVnow
I was thrilled to learn v0.3.6 would bring USTVnow back to PTVL. After you announced the update to include this feature, I wanted to give it a go.
To keep test variables to a minimum, I decided to generate a new settings2.xml using the AutoTune feature, enabled only for USTVnow channels (ie: nothing else should be created but the seven free subscription channels). That failed with a FATAL ERROR message, and no channels were created. That post is here, and the log from that failed run is here.
Given these surprising results, I rebooted the machine and ran the USTVnow plugin on it's own (ie: without PTVL running). Six of the seven channels worked fine (ABC was dead, but it's fine tinight ). So the basic function of the plugin (Luna v9.9.9) is confirmed to work here.
Arrrrgh ! OK, strike B from the list... for now. I just checked this minute (ie: USTVnow within PTVL), and six of seven channels play OK. Tonight's recalcitrant channel is CBS - both in PTVL and in standalone mode.
Is this how reliable the "free" account is... intentionally crippled to promote paid subs ?
(sure curious what hung the system, according to the log below)
Problem B: Manually-built USTVnow Locks Up xbmc
To remove the AutoTune variable from testing, I built a settings2.xml by cut/paste of the USTVnow example you added to post #2. No other channels, just the those from USTVnow. The report (and different log) from that test is in this post.
I merged the USTVnow code into my prior 30+ channel settings2.xml file, and PTVL runs fine with all other channels, but it hangs if I choose from the USTVnow group.
I hope this is clear.
