To continue the playlist not populating, i put a playlist with only live shows.
from 60 shows it stopped on number 14 and i got this in the log

removed system cache. started a new settings.xml & settings2.xml
started a playlist with a 1000 movies. got to number 978 and it halted

beside this nothing happens.
no PVR, no XMLTV. just a clean settings2.xml with one playlist with no rules.

Am i the only one who has this issue?
i set only 2 playlists in the settings2, one succeeded the second one never appeared.

Can't help anyone right now, really busy cleaning up and optimizing a lot of the code, since most of it's stable I want to remove a lot of sloppy test code...
While i'm at it i'm also adding dynamic artwork to all chtypes and will also use xbmc's artwork database, removing the need for local artwork...

So if I have local artwork it will still use xbmc online artwork?
Will there be an option to select which one ?
If there is already the poster inside the folder,will ibhe able to use it?

I am having an issue with PseudoTV Live on my Raspberry Pi with OpenElec. I only use it for local content, just like the original, nothing fancy. Just 12 channels.

When I first launch it, I can click OK on the remote to get to the EPG. Once I close the EPG, clicking OK will only bring up the OSD controls. If I continue working with it, after about 10 minutes it seems to lose track of what the OK button is supposed to do, and will do something different each time I click it. After googling I have found that at least one other person has this issue on this platform at well.

I checked out xbmc.log, and didn't notice anything showing up in the log when I would click the OK button. I also turned on debugging in PTVL settings, but I'm not sure if that produces a separate log or not.

since i am still having issues that some playlist work and some freeze PTVL i tried to put a limit.
in the comedy playlist i put a 100 limit. (this is from the actual playlist PTVL created:

I settled on Titian, but I would switch in a minute if someone could make a transparent EPG. I'm gonna see if I can find a way to do it, but I really don't have too much coding knowledge...i just follow instructions well

Just got PseudoTV Live all set up, and I couldn't be happier! Works like a charm, and its great for the technophobes in my house who are nervous about "cutting the cord".

I do have what may be a silly question though: What skin is used in this screenshot, which comes from the album linked in the first post:

I feel like I'm missing something, because I thought a skin in the screenshots would be included by default (or at least in the fanmade skins link), or maybe it is and I'm just missing some settings or something?

Hello! I'm a long time PseudoTV user that is now (finally) giving PseudoTV Live a try! I'm liking the configuration settings for local media (which is my primary use for it), but the idea of integrating USTVNow is genius! I'm having incredible difficulties getting it to work, however.

Specs:

Arch Linux
XBMC Gotham

When I use the provided addon for USTVNow, I get the following error when selecting a stream:

"One or more items failed to play. Check the log file for details"

.....xbmc.log reveals:

I have the addon configured at 400 kbps, rtmp, and I have my valid user credentials entered. I can use USTVNow online with no problem, but it is only with this addon that I cannot get it to work. Therefore, it won't work on PseudoTV Live either.
