I guess it was requested before, just cant find it anywhere.
so I will ask again for a feature:
please make a pvr backend to this addon so the channels can be part of the regular live tv channels in xbmc.
today it's opposite: the script is import the channels from the existing pvr in xbmc.
I am asking that the script will be a pvr in xbmc so all the virtuals channels will be in the live tv list, and the script configuration will be the pvr configuration.

I didn't read the whole thread, but I just installed this and did autotune. All thumbs and fanart are being loaded from external online sources (for local content) which slows down the epg gui significantly.

I checked off the one option in the settings I think it was called something like dynamic thumbs and now I get no pictures. Any way to make it use the local pics for local content?

I've thought about doing this, but the limitations with xbmc pvr backend keeps easy transition impossible atm.

This has been answered before, for "local" media pseudotv live already looks for your artwork in the same folders your media is stored in... So if you want to speed up artwork, use artwork downloader script and configure for "local" artwork saving...

as for all other sources, artwork has to be loaded from the web... v.0.4.4 has an improved caching system for artwork, first load will be slow... but as the cache grows the performance increases.

Disabling dynamic artwork, disables this feature and brings up a static image from the "xbmc.player"

Is there an option to get rid of the new "changing channels" image that was added? Or possible change the image used? The fade-in option I like, but after a day or so now on the latest version, that screen is starting to get a little annoying.

This is really nice, I really like the EPG a lot, I think it's going to be a favorite for sure. One minor cosmetic thing I noticed [and I think its visible here in your screenshot] was a few of the channel numbers in the list have the indents off slightly it looks like

I'm going to give it a look-see in a few, but do you think I can easily swap in clearart for the Overlay OSD instead of fanart? I'm a big fan of clearart in the info/OSD view, but most skinners seem to shy away from it.

also - @Lunatixz - I have not heard anything from people about the chan logo packs. if you wouldnt mind could you please add that info to one of the first 3 posts? I'm willing to put in the work for sorting/organizing but can't do anything if nothing is submitted. Lots of people seem interested though.

Just take a look at the community lists! I'm not interested in posting about logo requests...

If you want to order the packs I have for donors, I would be grateful... And I could supply you with tons more once those are organized...

I read that in a previous thread. I tried that, and still nothing. Tried rebuilding channels as well.

Works fine, you just need to make sure your using it correctly (read milkmans guide) and that all values are actually in the box and saved

code above interleaves channel 142 into channel 143, it was configured in the in app tool.

My interleaves haven't been working for ages now. I just read through this gem and have been able to successfully interleave 2 channels again by manually editing the settings2 file. Luna has told me to be careful to make sure the settings were being saved, but until now I didnt know how to verify by reading the code.

I have a lot of channels to manually edit, but am confident that it will work. Many thanks Lunatixz for the solution and ryanmcclure for presenting my problem in a different way. I can finally use PTVL with my kids again

there are places in my broken settings2 with "" instead of "1"
