My bad...thanks so much , I will keep up to date...

No biggie, just a heads up that I post details on changes...

Well... the 0.4.5 build claims that features won't work without superfavs installed and prompts you to download and install it. You obviously know that since you wrote the darn thing. The problem is, with or without superfavs installed the 0.4.5 build just hangs on the loading screen and looking at the bins I see posted there are now three people throwing the identical error? I don't think simply uninstalling superfavs fixes the problem.

So any other ideas?

You don't need to uninstall super fav, just don't use in autotune and remove setting from settings2.xml

ok, I removed superfavs, but where do I find said file settings2.xml and what settings do I remove?

... nm I am a tool... I found it

Code:
<import addon="plugin.video.youtube" optional="true"/>
        <import addon="script.artwork.downloader" optional="true"/>
        <import addon="plugin.video.ustvnow" version="9.9.9" optional="true" />
        <import addon="plugin.program.super.favourites" version="0.9.1" optional="true" />
2.3.3 optional attribute
The dependency may be made optional by setting the optional attribute to true. This will only install the dependency when the add-on actually needs it. Even if this dependency is missing, the add-on can still be installed.

Do you want me to do a clean install of v13.1 and install PseudoTV Live from scratch and show you the log? Not being sarcastic, I will do it if that helps to identify an issue. But yes, I am 100% sure that my log was saying "dependencies not met" and "ustvnow" in the same line (don't remember the exact wordage).

I've installed PseudoTV from zip (from the first posts). Couldn't find any repo with it. Version 0.4.5 according to addon.xml in the zip

Not needed... I was using xbmc's development wiki for reference, could be outdated?

The weird part is that it only cares about "ustvnow".

Code:
16:04:02 T:4964   DEBUG: CZipManager::GetZipList - Processing zip://C%3a%5c_%5cscript.pseudotv.live-master.zip/
16:04:03 T:4964   DEBUG: Addon script.pseudotv.live requires plugin.video.ustvnow version 9.9.9 which is not available

Once "ustvnow" is installed, PseudoTV installs too. It's not asking for other optional plugins. Makes me think the issue is not in addon.xml, but being triggered from something else (I am talking out of my behind, as I know nothing about plugin development)

Yeah the chagelog and twitter is not really clear on SuperFaves but all you really have to do is uncheck Super Favorites in the PTVL settings within xbmc. You don't have to delete anything or edit any xml files.

@ Lunatixz Thanks for the help trying to get my donor features to activate but I found the issue. You just sent me the wrong username. Only a few hours wasted on that issue but my time is worth nothing so no biggie.

i'm going to install the plugin and then try to install pseudotv and see what happens. will update with results
I, too am stuck on a perpetual loading screen since the last update. I have never used superfaves or any autotuning. I've uninstalled and reset everything but still get the loading screen.
Anyone else having issues with the OSD popping up randomly while watching a channel? It's very likely a problem on my end, but I thought I'd ask on the off-chance it's PTVL related. Because it doesn't seem to happen while watching videos outside of the plugin.
so i installed the ustvnow plugin, and voila, psuedotv live installs with no errors. thank you, hydraSlav.

edit: now when i first load it up it hangs at the 'Loading...' screen, which then i have to reset my box.
Luna, Is it safe to auto tune with community channels and superfaves again?

Also did anyone get an auto update to 4.6? I just ran PTVL expecting an auto update prompt but it's just building my channels again on what I suppose is still 4.5. Tried to cancel but it's still building away!

Edit: I guess 4.6 hasn't been pushed yet though it was announced on twitter. Hmmm.....
Does this plugin support Gotham yet? It crashes instantly on startup. I've posted the crash and xbmc log. Using the latest master (one that shows last updated 6 days ago).

I cant help you with the logs, but I can say it works with gotham
Hey luna, Im sorry if this is a really dumb question, but I already have all my artwork in the folders with my videos, each video has its own. Is there anyway for PTVL to just use that artwork? Its downloading everything. And a lot is not in English

(I also using 4.6)

Thank you for all your hard work!

*Edit I saw in the changelog its a known issue to not be the right language, but still would be cool to use the artwork I already have Smile

PseudoTV Live already uses your library images... this was included with v.0.4.6... whatever XBMC uses PTVL uses for your local media... if you see it downloading images its either...for livetv, a plugin or you were missing that image or it wasn't found.

don't know if it is just me but in 4.6 (just uploaded like an hour ago) in addon settings the selection that you are highlighting freaks out and moves like umm say your selection is in the middle the page will scroll by itself so it is at the bottom.
EDIT: also should mention im pretty certain it didnt do this to me before.

fixed already, it was pushed after v.0.4.6 went out... You need to re download and install Smile

it's a small fix, you can do it manually by editing or replacing the one file.

I'm noticing a few weird things like that as well. I'm going to do a clean install and see what happens. I'm guessing the 4.6 config file is slightly different and might be causing the weirdness?
