Hey Luna,
i'm also having the "smart playlist" problem, probably unicode problem,
i wanted to ask if you can make the "auto update" an option for choosing,
i know you dont want to support earlier versions but i think that a version downgrade can be helpful when there are bugs in the new version,
for example my 1st channel and most important is smart playlist with kids movies, my kids knows just how to start my HTPC, after that xbmc launch automatically and PSTL also with channel 1 so everything is great,
now this channel doesn't work and they cannot use PSTL, if i could downgrade to the previous version without asked to upgrade it would be great, until a new fix would be available so i can auto update again.

I'll allow PTVL to launch after selecting "no" to update.

This program is still a beta, not even at version 1 status yet..Because I'm always overhauling key components... The Development branch was setup to avoid issues like yours from making its way into stable. This time it snuck in.... I can't guarantee it won't happen again. But I will get if fixed by tonight. Thanks
