I was going to edit my post and write "you can program base on what you know to be common" and if you know fox, fox2, fox movies, fox sports, fox anything exist than you look for common denominator to distinguish them from one and other to a make a positive match. They are strings of characters that you can analyze using edit distance. It will never be 100% but it would be as close as possible. In my case it wasn't close at all. 630 channels with 0 match. So if you are the programmer and you think this is acceptable then fine. I am not going to argue with you. I found an alternative that works for me. With the help of excel using the formula I stated above I had no issue matching them. I started from scratch from my test client so I can send you logs so you can hopefully debug and fix that problem for someone else who may encounter the same issue or perhaps myself If I ever decided to do a clean install in the future. Again you don't have time and that's understandable.

For me for example MTV and MTV2 came up as a match. I rather fix manually fixed 1 10 30 than 630.
