Regardless, thanks for the nicely written guide. Maybe if you hadn't filled it with pot shots at the people who tried to help you it would end up linked in the first page.

I wasn't making pot shots. Sorry bud, but your posts weren't helpful and NO ONE posted the method I figured out above. Regardless, you said it was "full of pot shots"? I made one comment about the instructions given in this thread being unhelpful.... if that's a potshot, you are one sensitive guy.
For future reference, simply repeating, "JUST READ MAN" doesn't help when the person is reading and is tech savy enough for this kind of thing. Everything I read was instructions that didn't relate to my setup, or were just outdated and wrong.
Granted, maybe you guys aren't used to dealing with OTA setups like mine, but if that's the case, don't act like you know what you're talking about and then be insulting when your instructions don't work.

Your entire "method" hinges on changing the names in NEXT PVR instead of xmltv (which if done right should still match). A few days ago I sent you message that said:

Basically you have to match the names of your PVR channel streams (you'll have to figure out what these are as I'm not sure where they are exactly) to the channel names in xmltv. You can change the name of either, as far as I know, as long as they match.

But I shouldn't be surprised that you take the stance you do. Since you blame everyone else when things don't work it only makes sense that you take credit for everything when they do.

This is a great community where people make their best efforts to help each other. Acting the way you do towards others only acts to discourage this cooperation. I took a lot of my own personal time to help you, even when everyone else had already started ignoring you. Yet you take the extra time to take a shot at me and everyone else who tried to help. And let's face it, that was a shot. There were far more diplomatic ways to say that every suggestion you tried before was unsuccessful, but the words "since the responses I got here were.... let's just say, unhelpful..." was clearly intended as a dig.
