That sounds like good advice... if a bit of a chore... I guess I should also try going back to a stable release of XBMC instead of Kodi since I now need to do a full reinstall to make this work... what version of XBMC is PseudoTV Live tested against?
Has it been tested against Kodi?
Is there a way to tell the versions of the dependencies? The install instructions lists the dependencies but doesn't supply any versioning.
There is no Kodi Helix support for PTVL (Luna has said that he will not support it until it is close to a final release).
Multiple people have unsuccessfully tried to get PTVL work with their Helix setups but have encountered a number of different problems. So I suspect that Helix is the root of your problems.
I would definitely recommend dropping back to Gotham if you want to get PTVL set up and working.
