For the reminder, the problem is that every other channel other than "LiveTV" can be queued at anytime. Meaning if you are watching a local, youtube, etc... channel and something is on a few hours from now, you can always select and start it... but livetv you need to wait.
So a reminder for anything but livetv seems pointless, no? If you think i'm wrong let me know... I'd like to hear opposing viewpoints.
I think it could serve a purpose. PTVL isn't designed as an "on-demand" interface by nature...it gives that live TV feel to on-demand content. Just like you include BCT's, reminders could enhance the feel.

Okay maybe a dialog box that says "would you like to watch now or set reminder?"
I'd vote for that. Functional yet non-intrusive. Perhaps a settings toggle for default usage? That way you don't have to choose each time as well. "Always set Reminder | Always watch now | Ask each time"?
