The XBMC is on a Satellite TV Box no way of getting the log.
Let me try again:

Startup PTVL Error pop up " Unable to find any Channels. Please Configure the addon." So I click OK Under settings I move down to Open Channel Configuration There I set up 3 channels just for now will add more later. Ch1 Channel type TV shows next box The Big Bang Theory scroll down click OK repeat same process for the other 2 channels. now to get out of the Channel Configuration screen I use the Exit Key on the Remote a pop up screen Says " Save" " Do you want to save all changes ?" Yes or No I click "Yes" then Click "OK" In the Settings when I start up PTVL it acts like I never set any channels. Is there another setting I am missing ?

If I were you I would contact the manufacturer. It sounds like you might have proprietary software installed on that box.

The software its running on is Jelly Bean 4.2.2 The xbmc looks original all the other addons work so I figure it must be a setting that Im missing in PTVL

Well it obviously isn't. The message you claim pops up says it is "Unable to find any Channels. Please Configure the addon." The addon is not part of PTVL. Most likely that addon is a proprietary addon that the manufacture wrote so that you can configure PTVL to work with the tuner streams in that box. Since I'm somewhat familiar with these sorts of issues I'd be willing to guess that you have a permissions problem on the settings files PTVL uses. The addon probably can't write to the settings file so every time you hit the save button, you think you saved your changes but in reality the settings files couldn't be updated and the next time you start PTVL is asks all over again for you to set the channel info. No guarantees, just an educated guess from someone familiar with the permissions issues you run into on Android when you install software without elevated permissions.

Again you should contact the manufacture and tell them what you did. They might have a patch or have seen the exact same issue before.
