[OLD/CLOSED] PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution
I updated and added a few new EPG channel logos for Tromy's Titian skin, mostly genre/decade stuff for my personal setup - if anyone's interested, here's an new link:

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0...sp=sharing

One other tip...I found this online site for creating some nice text for channel logos/EPG stuff if you want to create your own graphics easily:

http://www.picturetopeople.org/online-te...ators.html
Anyone know why I am still getting a the script error about the info plugin not working? I thought that plugin was supposed to be getting updated?
Can the project developer PLEASE.. PLEASE.. PLEASE!

put a simple one paragraph "about project" on the first page of their project...

just an about.. and features..

because when you come to this post and read through it you have NO IDEA EXACTLY WHAT IT DOES...

You can guess what it might do.. .. there is a pretty slide show... there are tons of update and fix notices and how to configure notices...

but no simple about....

PseudoTV Live

This project will allow Kodi users to setup their own TV Guide.. DOES IT DO THAT?
idk .. I am guessing maybe it does but wont know until i install it.

again please developers .. all developers not just this project ..
do that..
takes all of 3 minutes to write your about and feature list.
Less time than to compile your code.
thanks
Lunatixz every since the new update it will not generate channels that just point to a local directory. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I also constantly get ExtendedInfo Script Failed. Tried reinstalling it. Can anyone point me to instructions on how to send a log? I have no idea how to generate one.

I just tried to make a channel from a local dir but I only get the option to select dvd or flash drive. Are you able to browse for a custom playlist by chance?

I used PseudoTV Manager to create it. It always worked until I upgraded from Gotham to Kodi. Just FYI though it won't pull all the metadata from whatever is in the directory, it'll just say what the file name is.
I had this, went away and getting back into it.

But ever since I got into the new version, after launching xbmc, there is a 2 second lag where I can't do anything and then the home screen will do a sort of refresh and its ready. Everything still works normally, just kind of annoying and can it be fixed? It's on my mind right now and I do not have a log, i'll generate one as soon as I can.
Update.

I got the Super Favourites to work, apparently they have to be in a folder called PseudoTV_Live. This looked like it was optional in the instructions at the beginning of this thread. So we could probably use a little clarification there.

I would however like my Super Favourites to build after my Live TV options in AutoTune, is that possible?
Anyone know why I'm getting play back failed with this log error on over the air stations?

I had the same issue.The solution was to autotune first pvr channels and then all were playable.

I cleared cache, deleted Settings2.xml, re-autotuned, still having the same errors.

Any ideas?
Does PseudoTV_Live accept M3U8 playlists as channels.
Have couple HTTP streams that i use on VLC. would be great if i can incorporate into the setup.

M3U is like below...

#EXTINF:0,Sky 1
http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8081/udp/239.100.40.1:1234
#EXTINF:0,SKY 2
http://xx.xx.xx.xx:80/udp/239.102.0.193:1234

You could do this

Code:
<setting id="Channel_1_type" value="9" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_1" value="5400" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_2" value="http://xx.xx.xx.xx:80/udp/239.102.0.193:1234" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_3" value="Sky2" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_4" value="Sky News 24/7 stream." />
    <setting id="Channel_1_rulecount" value="1" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_rule_1_id" value="1" />
    <setting id="Channel_1_rule_1_opt_1" value="Sky2" />
I noticed with the new PseudoTV live 0.5.7d, my fanart with the EPG guide and info screen (movie logos, poster, and fanart) will be working fine while building the channels with the background refresh set to on, but once the artwork spooling message shows up on the screen the artwork will default to the PseudoTV live logo instead of the artwork for any channel. This is happening on all my KODI machines with PseudoTV Live, as I am currently using the channel sharing option with all the devices with one master. Anyone have any suggestions on fixing this? Thank you.
