Given that a channel reset causes a 10 min wait time where most channels are missing as they build one by one, I'd love to run a nightly reset so I never have to wait during the day.

You can set PTVL to update once every 12 or 24 hours or whatever works around your schedule so you aren't waiting around at the exact same 10 min its doing it's thing. I think this all boils down to better planning. Figure out when you are sitting in front of the TV most of the time and make sure you're set up to have the updates happen when you aren't around Works for me.
