why does pseudo tv live say "checking other instances" everytime i start it up? it will exit itself the first time its started as well :/ was absolutely fine until i updated to kodi 14.1. when i close it it says "removing file locks" and takes ages, its rendering it pretty much useless

You need to check your settings. Have you got channel sharing set up accidentally?
