I'm not sure what you are implying here, that it is funny that you only gave $2 and managed to get donor status? I get that its a donation and it can be any amount, but come on, give what you feel its worth and what you can afford. His time has to be worth more then $2, even if you are a student, you can spare more to say thank you. Be reasonable with a donation, I have no idea if majority of donations are like this, but that hardly would motivate me to use my spare time to create arguably the best addon for XBMC/Kodi.

I don't mean to be rude, but a donation is a donation, regardless of how much a person gives. Is it really right to belittle someone just because you don't think they gave enough? It's a donation, not a fee. Comments like this are detrimental to the cause, too. If Joe Blogs can only donate a few dollars but sees this and then thinks he can't donate enough so changes his mind, then that's $2 that the developer could have had, and now doesn't. If ten people had the same thought process then that's $20 missed out on, and so forth.

I have to agree with indy_star 2 bucks, paypal fees takes out 50%. Not sure I would brag about two bucks, Before ptv I paid 200 a month for cable.

The point is that at least he donated something. He could just use PTVL without ever donating, and I'm not sure he was "bragging". That's still money that Lunatixz didn't have before he donated.

I hope this doesn't offend Lunatixz, but we're under no obligation to pay him for what he offers. Would I have donated more than $2? Yes. I think $10 is a reasonable "low" donation, but this user still donated out of his own wallet, regardless. You don't know his financial situation, you don't know how he gets by. Maybe $2 is all that he can donate.

But i think we'll end up butting heads over this all night, so I think it's best to agree to disagree.
