Rastan I think your problem is in hitting "x". For PTVL you need to hit "esc" to get out of the program properly.

) I have always used "X" till the update before this one and it has always worked. "X" also exited on the original PsuedoTV. I have a suggestion, maybe the "X" button should be disabled when PTVL is launched as it is the default stop key for Kodi. Or better yet get it to behave like esc does (like it always used to be).
Unless there is a setting I have missed somewhere that toggles this behaviour.
