I think the poster icon size is PERFECT on the Showcase view using the small posters. However, the top of the screen could be populated with a new row of icons of the same size. This view is perfect for the 10 foot living room experience, not too small, not too big.... Should let you easily navigate large collections. The description/info would go away, but it can be easily seen when hitting "enter" on the selected movie.

I created a mockup in Photoshop:



The whole list would navigate horizontally...

Please can some kind soul create this view?
