Naming is right. Check the info on each file to see what files are scanned

Did some testing and no matter what I name the file (Trailer, -Trailer, -trailer, Lost in Space (1998)-trailer, etc) it still gets scanned as the main feature. The only work around I have been able to find is to put the file in the "Extras" folder. This prevented it from being scanned and I can watch it by using the "Extras" button. Not sure what will happen with other trailers that get downloaded by the scrappers though?

blabla_movie-trailer.ext is the preffered naming. Do you have the option "movie are in seperate folder.." enable in content settings?
XBMC never downloads trailers. it just puts the online link in the database and you will stream it
