Hi all, this isn't a specific issue with a particular box, but ISO playback is visibly worse than straight from DVD on my BR player on various boxes I've tried (such as TLBB, Midnight 1, and a Rpi). It looks more pixelated if I jump between the two sources. Any ideas why? Is it just the way XBMC up scales?

I think there are various upscaling settings, have you fiddled with them?

If you think it looks pixelated in XBMC it may be that your BD player does some post-processing which smooths the picture to make it look "HD-ish", something that XBMC doesn't do.

Wow, my BR player must be doing an amazing job then! Its like night and day between the two. Oh well, I'll double check the settings and see if I've missed anything.
