Is it possible to get an external player to play from smb in android? I have a galaxy note 2 10.1 and the libstage fright isn'tquite there yet for this device, files play from smb fine when just playing direct in the external player.
I have had a search round but could not find a definitive answer, I came across an http smb wrapper but that does not seem to work for me. I can get internet streams to launch in an external player, just not smb files.
