Thank you for the info.
I cloned the git repo, applied the 2 patches on commit c325aa5d. Then, configure, make, make install.
Started xbmc (menu is surprisingly smooth, definately better than before), start 1080p movie, and craps out with
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
/usr/bin/xbmc: 3: /etc/os-release: OS: not found
/usr/bin/xbmc: 81: /usr/bin/xbmc: systemd-coredumpctl: not found
Any crucial steps I am missing?
