Hello all,
First: many thanks to fritsch and all the other developers and testers!
I installed all from scratch according to your "HowTo" on a new partition in parallel to my refernce systrem on the same hardware (AMD A10-5700) .
My reference system works reasonably good (Ubuntu 12.10 with xbmc-xvba)
Compared to my reference system, I notice some surges when I view some MKV (H264) movies..
Finaly XBMC crashes (see links to crash-log below).
Is this a typcall behaviour, that this version of xbmc crashes, or is my configuration/installation wrong?
Hopefully this infos are helpful for you.
Here are the logfiles:
root@htpc:~# cat ~/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log | pastebinit
http://paste.ubuntu.com/6371244/
root@htpc:~# cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | pastebinit
http://paste.ubuntu.com/6371245/
root@htpc:~# DISPLAY=:0 vdpauinfo | pastebinit
http://paste.ubuntu.com/6371246/
root@htpc:~# dpkg -l |grep mesa | pastebinit
http://paste.ubuntu.com/6371252/
Further question:
were can I find "qvdpauinfo" ?
Thanks in advance.
