Ok, I updated to saucy but I still have the screen disco. So here is my report + a video to show what append.
When playing videos it is less noticeable, there is only an horizontal cut around the middle of the screen, a little bit like a sync problem but its not a sync problem. Also subtitles and menu looks disco.
the video : http://youtu.be/EfyQGw3N3ts
On the video I first show that on the desktop everything is fine. Then glxgears shows artifacts and finally xbmc with a lot of artifacts in menus but not in videos.
some (hopefully) relevant information :
xbmc@htpc:~$ dmesg | pastebinit
http://paste.ubuntu.com/6383059/
xbmc@htpc:~$ cat ~/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log | pastebinit

xbmc@htpc:~$ cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | pastebinit
http://paste.ubuntu.com/6383066/
xbmc@htpc:~$ DISPLAY=:0 vdpauinfo | pastebinit
If anyone have an idea to avoid that it is more than welcome !

xbmc@htpc:~$ dpkg -l |grep mesa | pastebinit
