the script even includes a comment on how to do that.
It sure does... but it doesn't work exactly as entered. If you uncomment and modify that line to run openbox, like this:
Code:
script
# the following two are to get an idea, if you want to user a window manager
exec su -c "xinit /usr/bin/openbox -- /usr/bin/X -nolisten tcp :0" $USER
exec su -c "xinit /usr/bin/kodi --standalone -- /usr/bin/X -nolisten tcp :0" $USER
end script
...you just get a blank window with mouse cursor, no Kodi at all. My uneducated guess is that xinit can only be invoked once, but I tried it just directly running openbox without xinit, and that didn't work either.
Any ideas?
