Its mini HDMI, it's in-between the mini displayport and the ethernet port?

It was only one example, I'm sure there will be plenty coming out, probably early next year at this rate. Intel are planning on releasing their own case with space for sata drives so I'm sure passive ones will follow after.

I've noticed a difference on the website http://shop.ba-computer.at/catalogsearch...uc&x=0&y=0

There's a box with product id: BOXD54250WYK & BOXD54250WYK2
The '2' is a bit more expensive. Does anyone know the difference?

I think it's because you get a Type C,E (Central Europe) powercord with it, but i'm not totally sure.

I can't see a difference other than the Power Cord, but I wonder why the difference would make about €15,--
Also, I can't find any Infos on the "2" Version on the Intel Site.

The only other question is what remote to use with this computer, it has an IR sensor apparently which is pretty cool.

I wonder if OpenELEC will support the IR out of the box or would it need tweaking, so Any IR remote will do ?

just a noob question... why do ppl want to get separate case/chassis for NUC? whats wrong with the one supplied?
btw what is a passive case?

The one supplied is not passive..

Some reviews report that fan gets a bit noisy when stressed (i5 version)...

passive case means that their is no fan therefor no fan noise, the heat will dissipate passively through the case.

Big advantage and it gives you a zero noise box, no fan noise no buzzing etc...
