Good! The strange thing is that, with the previous version (bandwidth problems notwithstanding), the same files played back with no problem.

Also worth mentioning, considering what you wrote, I am having a similar problem with an .mp4 file. Playback doesn't even start, download goes through but, again, unplayable through MPC-HC too. The file is an mp4 file, 350MB in size.
