Figured it out.

New release 0.6.9:

Major new feature is a new login type called "Google Apps". Now it is possible to setup an account without entering a long code.

To use this method, visit this Google Activation page:

When instructed for a username and passcode you would enter into the plugin so that the plugin can fetch the code for you. You make both of these up (they are not your Google Account credentials). Remember though that username will reflect the name that the account will reflect in the plugin and will affect your STRMs (STRMs created for username = user123 will only playback against an account names user123).

The advantages of this method:
- uses SSL completely
- completely uses Google servers (runs via a Google App Script installed to a Google Docs account)
- when the code is redeemed, the code and credentials are purged

I am attempting to use the google apps method
I goto Google Activation page:

put in a username/password and it says


Signup completed. Now use the username + passcode in the KODI / XBMC GDrive plugin.

i edited the oauth2 code in the post, for privacy reasons.

now once this is done and i go to the plugin i fill in the username and password that was created from above. i get the popup saying visit dmdsoftware.net and select google apps sign-in method. when signup is completed click ok.
Once i click OK... i get the following..
Google Code not found.

i have tried different usernames and passwords and all come out with same result... am i missing something?

No, you are doing everything right. I'm able to reproduce the issue. It was working last night. Investigating

EDIT: figured it out. Need a new build.

There is a workaround for 0.6.10. Put your passcode into the Password field in ClientLogin then change to Google Apps and put in your username and passcode there. Save and start again.
