That would be correct. The plugin is reconstructing the package and adjusting the title in addition to adding thumbnail. For some reason, when you play STRM files from within KODI, when it plays back, it doesn't load the thumbnail unless you override it and provide one. I can change it or provide a toggle if you really prefer it unchanged.
Hmm I'm not sure if I exactly understand what you mean.
I don't need the gdrive plugin to create thumbnails or any metadata or pictures. Everything is provided by Emby because I added the files to Emby database in advance. So if there is a way to prevent those "name changes" that would be nice.
PS: I don't use the strm export from your addon, I'm using the script which works directly on gdrive provided by Ryan on Github.
