Release gdrive - Google Drive Video/Music Add-on
For anyone using rTorrent and wanting to take dmds encryption for a spin, I have created a script that will automatically encrypt/upload files and create strm files upon the torrents completion.

https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AP...8A2D74CF98

Prerequisites:

PyDrive
Rclone
FileBot

Instructions:

The third line of launcher.sh (system.method****) must be added to your rtorrent.rc file. Ensuring you edit the path to launcher.sh.

All the variable values that need changing are found in launcher.sh.

You need to add a client id and client secret to settings.yaml. Follow this tutorial to obtain them: https://developers.google.com/identity/s...le-project

After that, run this command in shell "python strm.py 1 2 3 4 5 6 7" to generate your json file. Should be good to go after that.

gdrive-testing 0.8.43 pushed out to the testing repository is now ready for testing TV Shows watch status and resume status via STRM playback (for updating status in KODI DB). Also works with third party trackers (such as pushing watch status to Emby server).

Movies will be next.

Not working on my end chief. Now it won't even mark that one file as watched that your previous build was marking as watched.

Unencrypted TV shows. Used STRM's generated by your plugin to see if it made any difference, it didn't.

Is the media scrapped into KODI library?

Can you do the following test? Start the TV show. Then click stop after 5 seconds. Take a look at the logs. Look for "NOTICE: PLAYBACK STOPPED". Shortly following it should be a "NOTICE: gdriv-testing: Updated local db". Also sandwiched between these two statements should be a "NOTICE: #", such as below "NOTICE: 72". There could be more then one. Let me know if this is appearing in your logs.

I am not as technical as some of you folks , so excuse my ignorance. How do I add covers to movies and tv shows I have?

Hello keithcq71,

You are in the "gdrive - Google Drive Video/Music Add-on" thread.

Is your questions specifically related to the gdrive add-on, or is it more of a general How-To question for Kodi functions.

If it is the latter, I can move you to a more appropriate area.

@keithcq71,

Thanks for clarifying. I'll leave your post where it is. I saw your low post count, and just wanted to confirm you were in the right area. Smile
