Sorry, I can't help for that

Awesome add-on, thanks!
I started using Gdrive today but i cannot seem to play any video from my google drive. I click on a movie filename (after authenticating my account and navigating to the correct folder), the Working animation spins for a few seconds and then disappears. The movie does not play.
I can see all my files, I just can't play them. I have tried on an android device Kodi 18 and My Windows computer Kodi 18; latest Gdrive add-on. All files are MKV format.
Movies won't play directly from the Gdrive addon or via the exported strm streams.
It seems it is only the 'Original' quality files that won't play. If I set the setting in Gdrive, that says "Force Prompt for Quality Selection" before playing file, and I choose 1080p or anything other than Original Format, it works fine. I have "Never Transcode" selected also.
This is the same behavior for 1080p files, not just 2160p files; if I choose original it spins and stops. If I choose 1080p, it plays.
Has anyone seen this issue before?
Cheers,
Ken
All good I think.
Is there a download limit for Google drive each day? Maybe after you reach your upload limit?
Cheers,
Ken
OK so my Google Drive stopped plaing videos again. I spent an hour in a support call with Google, and it is not on thier end. My acount is fine and there are no limits hit.

Any ideas what that means? A 403 error means forbidden!
Further info, if I try to access the movie via the Google appps API, I get this error:
{ "error": { "errors": [ { "domain": "usageLimits", "reason": "dailyLimitExceededUnreg", "message": "Daily Limit for Unauthenticated Use Exceeded. Continued use requires signup.", "extendedHelp": "https://code.google.com/apis/console" } ], "code": 403, "message": "Daily Limit for Unauthenticated Use Exceeded. Continued use requires signup." } }
But I am authenticated (signed in) under my G Suite business account, which owns the videos. How have I exceeded the quote? Is the authentication that we do, somehow using a shared Google API/auth or something?
I have my own API key created with google apps, perhaps there is a way to add it to the queries?
Cheers,
Ken

When you use my plugin, the enrollment process will ask you if you want to specify your own client ID/secret or if you want to use one I provide.

It works in KODI 18 but the repository is offline so you won't be able to install the plugin into new installs, so that is why it won't install.

I wasn't lucky enough to have this installed before the repo went offline, so I was wondering if there was any way to implement your workaround for generating resume points in the extant add-on? It's genius and would remove a huge source of frustration for a lot of people trying to use the available add-on.(2019-08-11, 23:02)kenmills Wrote: Hey again - Alternatively, is there a way to use the gdive addon to connect to my Library in Kodi 18?

I have successfully installed gdrive from the given repo using latest Kodi.
unfortunately, I am unable to setup OAUTH2 as the webpage on dmdsoftware.net is offline.
I would like to ask for instructions if someone has them.
Thank you in advance.
