Hi,
I have XBMC installed on several systems (intel atom / debian wheezy, openelec for raspi, raspbmc). When I use airplay which comes bundled with XBMC, there is always a delay of about 3 seconds until xbmc responds. Play next song, pause, increase/decrease volume, in general all user actions are delayed by 3 seconds. I've read somewhere that this is related to buffering settings in XBMC.
On the other hand, if I install shairport on those same systems, the delay is minimal, around half a second or so.
Is there a way to adjust this behavior in XBMC? I have already installed shairport where possible, however building a custom version of openelec doesn't seem like a tempting option right now...
thanks
