Samsung Smart TV can I get the XBMC interface to show? I can only see to view file structure

Welcome to the XBMC forums.

You'll need to hookup your XBMC system to your TV with an HDMI cable in order to see the XBMC GUI on your TV.

You can't install XBMC on any TV os.

You install XBMC on a device and hook it up to the TV directly (or optionallu through a Audio Video Receiver (AVR))

XBMC -> TV
XBMC -> AVR -> TV

if you have network running there, all you need is to get a small device that can use XBMC.
a raspberry pi might be a nice option. Sure it can't do everything very great - but it plays normal files quite good.
