thought i should post to say that this bug:

23-01-2006 fixed: updating menu overlays on dvdstills took 40 seconds, now instant again

. . . seems to have returned with the 2006-02-06-t3ch cvs release.
just tried it out on "casablanca" (region 4) and the problem (which magically vanished with the 2006-01-24-t3ch cvs release) has come back to haunt me.
maybe something got re-busted with all the new fixes.
can anyone else confirm this?

i have the last xbmc with 720p interface.
i have bumps with 90% of my originals dvds...
directly on the dvd disc, or with an image.

i tought it was becayse the 720p but it's the same with ntsc, pal,480p, etc, etc...

looks like this bug, which was "fixed" again in xbmc-cvs_2006-02-12-t3ch has returned in the latest 2006-02-20-t3ch release.
one word: bugger!

yeah i noticed it but like like to moan about bug to much... the devs will hate me with my list like to keep in the good books lol

i've always found the devs don't mind moaning as long as it's constructive moaning. and adding a smiley face always helps
the thing is, xbmc is so good now that we're invariably nit-picking over minor details like this one. there's simply nothing else to complain about :lol:

i don't have this problem. so it must be something else (another bug). please read the part 'bug reporting' at http://manual.xboxmediacenter.de/wakka.p...=dvdplayer i will need some more information about this bug, and a dvd sample will make it easier to fix for us.

seem that xbmc cannot play the required vob maybe this is the problem with my overlay?
