[HOW TO] KODI Linux on Amlogic TV Boxes
Hi Bodgit. See Auxbox's post #630 in this thread and there he confirms that he has made this true 1080 stable Linux build the 1st of the three compiled builds available in the opening post on page 1 of this long thread. So the answer is yes mate.

This is for me a very stable build indeed and will work 100% on your Sumvision Cyclone X2 box (or MyGica ATV1200 too of course) As everyone says being Linux based XBMC it is far snappier, smoother and overall faster than Android. No point in using Android now as we have a good stable Linux XBMC Gotham 13.1 build available, unless that is you really want all that unnecessary Andorid bloatrware eating up your resources and slowing you down.

Also see AuxBox's post #656 in this thread if you get the 1/4 screen small picture problem in 1080 mode, which you may do if upgrading from an earlier Linux Gotham or Frodo build. If so you need to delete or modify one small file as he points out.
Cheers
Raymw
