Hello all please excuse for my noobie approach. I have read on the forums countless hours on how to setup an external player for use with xbmc. I have powerdvd13 and the latest gothom release 13. I have also tried this on release 12.3. I have created a test.bat file and can play the file just fine out of xbmc. I created the playcorefactory.xml file and placed it in the users\appdata\roaming\xbmc\userdata folder. Then when I am in xbmc and try to run the file it never even tries just use the default player. Are there any step by step instructions someone is willing to share to help me?. My goal is to play the 3d movies on mashup along with an local 3d mkv or3d mp4 files I have with powerdvd since it supports my 3d setup. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
