ServerWMC prevents PC from turning into sleep mode
#1
Hello

I've got the following problem:

ServerWMC prevents my PC from automatically turning into sleep mode. When starting windows without ServerWMC (general tab - first flag), sleep mode works fine!

Does anybody else have the problem? Are there special settings within ServerWMC or Windows 7 I have to pay attention to?

From the attached log-file (http://pastebin.com/JPJgaLWD) you can see that there is a MaintenanceTimer that communicates every 8 minutes. I assume that this could be the cause for the problem. Is there a possibility to deactivate the MaintenanceTimer or to increase the time intervall to let's say 60 minutes?

Your help would be very much appreciated!

I don't think its the maintenance timer, at least it shouldn't be. If its on, try turning off 'pre start' tuners in the live-tv tab. After changing, you will need to restart serverwmc. Let me know if that does it.
Windows Media Center PVR addon (pvr.wmc) and server backend (ServerWMC)

disabling 'pre start tuners' was the solution. now sleep mode works fine.
Thanks a lot!
