I have installed xbmc (xbmc_12-3_fr_400362) on windows XP Pack 3.
I have a problem : the text is broken on some words.

Really need more information... A screenshot would help, also possibly a debug log.
As a first guess, is it non-english letters (special characters) that are the problem? If so you can try changing the font to "Ariel based" rather than default and see if that fixes it. (Under Settings - Appearence).
Edit: Should also add that Xp is no longer really supported & especially after April (When Microsoft stop sucurity updates) you should really consider installing something else.

Let me guess, it's AMD graphics? if so it's a video driver issue, try updating them.
I updated the graphic driver and it works. The problem is resolved!
